SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to purchases made through the MAAU Jaipur website, a brand operated by Malji Arts.

MAAU Jaipur creates and offers handcrafted, limited-edition and collectible products. We take care in preparing, packaging and shipping each order to ensure that it reaches you safely.

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed after successful payment confirmation.

Because many of our products are handcrafted, hand-finished or carefully prepared for individual customers, processing times may vary depending on the product.

The estimated processing or dispatch time, where applicable, will be communicated on the product page or after the order is placed.

Custom, personalized or made-to-order products may require additional processing time.

2. Shipping Within India

We offer delivery to locations across India, subject to courier service availability.

Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive a shipping confirmation containing tracking information, where tracking is available.

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on:

Product availability
Weather conditions
Public holidays
Remote-area delivery
Transportation disruptions
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Delivery estimates are therefore indicative and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. International Shipping

MAAU Jaipur may offer international shipping to selected countries and destinations.

International orders may be subject to additional customs clearance requirements, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchased product can legally be imported into their destination country.

MAAU Jaipur is not responsible for delays, additional charges, customs restrictions, seizure or refusal of delivery arising from the laws or regulations of the destination country.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed during checkout, where applicable.

Shipping charges may vary depending on:

Product weight and dimensions
Shipping method
Number of products
International or domestic delivery requirements

Any applicable shipping charge will be communicated to the customer before the order is completed.

5. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including:

Full name
House/building number
Street/locality
City
State/province
Postal/PIN code
Country, where applicable
Valid contact number

MAAU Jaipur is not responsible for delays, failed delivery or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.

6. Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided to the customer after dispatch.

Customers can use the tracking information provided by the relevant courier or logistics provider to follow the shipment.

Tracking updates may take some time to appear after an order has been dispatched.

7. Delivery Delays

While we make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Courier or logistics delays
Weather conditions
Natural disasters
Public holidays
Strikes or transportation disruptions
Customs clearance
Government restrictions
Incorrect address information
Remote-area delivery
Other unforeseen circumstances

Such delays do not automatically constitute a cancellation or refund event.

8. Damaged or Tampered Shipments

MAAU Jaipur takes special care in packaging fragile and collectible products.

If your package appears visibly damaged, opened or tampered with at the time of delivery, we recommend that you:

Photograph or record the package before opening it.
Photograph the shipping label and visible damage.
Record an unboxing video showing the condition of the package and product.
Contact us as soon as possible at shop.maau@gmail.com.
Provide your order number and relevant photographs/videos.

This documentation may be required to assist with a courier or insurance claim and to evaluate the appropriate resolution.

9. Missing or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is missing, incorrect or materially different from the product ordered, please contact us at shop.maau@gmail.com with your order number and relevant photographs as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

We will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our applicable policies and consumer rights under applicable law.

10. Failed Delivery / Returned Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered because of:

Incorrect address
Incomplete address
Customer unavailable for repeated delivery attempts
Refusal to accept delivery
Failure to pay applicable customs or import charges
Other circumstances attributable to the recipient

the shipment may be returned to us.

Any additional shipping, return or re-dispatch costs may be payable by the customer where permitted by applicable law.

11. Customs & Import Duties

For international orders, the destination country's customs authority may impose import duties, taxes, fees or other charges.

These charges are determined by the destination country and are outside the control of MAAU Jaipur.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, the customer is responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes and related charges.

Customers should check their country's import requirements before placing an international order.

12. High-Value & Special Shipments

Certain limited-edition, collectible or high-value products may require special packaging, insurance, signature confirmation or additional delivery arrangements.

Where special arrangements are required, we may contact the customer before dispatch to confirm delivery details.

13. Handmade & Made-to-Order Products

Some MAAU Jaipur products may be handcrafted, customized or made to order.

Such products may require additional preparation time. Any specific processing or dispatch timeline communicated on the product page or directly to the customer will apply to that order.
